The Republicans must REALLY want my vote or something.
So after a few days of not receiving mail thanks to snow and a state of emergency, I open my mailbox to find this:
I love how I received that despite me being a registered Democrat and voting in the Democratic Primary and voting for Obama. I also love how much they emphasize how important it is that I fill out this survey and send it back no matter how I respond. Oh dear, I feel un-American already for shredding it.
And that's just the first page of the letter.
It goes on for 3 more pages smearing Obama and twisting around things he has said to make them look bad (didn't upload, don't worry you're not missing much, they just repeat themselves), and THEN they have the gall to give me the most biased survey questions ever:
I know, I know, what else should I expect? I found it hilarious though, and felt I should share with you.

Re: The Republicans must REALLY want my vote or something.
Hahaha.
Two things:
1) The people who didn't vote for Obama did have a voice: it was called the Presidential Election. Do the writers of this letter (and I'm not going to smear decent Republicans by calling them "Republicans") not get how democracy works? Everyone gets to pick who they want to be in charge, and whoever gets the most votes wins. Then they get to do their thing for four years. It's a flawed system, but it's the one you asked for. Not getting your way is not the same thing as not having a voice. That's not how it works.
2) Obama's "agenda"? How is that an insidious threat? Of course he has an agenda: he's running the free world. What's he supposed to do, just govern based on ad hoc decisions? Make it up as he goes along? Now, he may well be doing that, but there's nothing villainous about having plans. "He's prepared for stuff! He must be a bastard!"

The other pages if anyone cares. Was too lazy to scan them at first.

I'll stuff the envelope full of expired coupons and pennies.
