 Random Journal
So I decided that I am going to start a Doogie Howseresque journal, for your entertainment and enlightenment. You may comment in this thread as it will be updated sporadically as I see fit. You may also talk about this at work, share it with friends, or generally seek solace and comfort in the cleverly laid out paragraphs I'm about to lay out for you all:
Entry #1 4-2-2009
Mood: Awesome
Sometimes in life, you have to know when to hold em, and know when to fold em. Unless you're playing Omaha H/L then there is 2 different ways for you to win the pot. It just goes to show that as in everything, life is like a coin, there are always 2 sides.

I now have a new understanding for many things, but this new understanding has lead me to question even more about seemingly simple subjects. Some may feel uncomfortable as they have been conditioned not to speak their minds truly and honestly, but reaching them thru enlightenment and open mindedness can be very satisfying. Call it a self-serving prophecy, call it common sense, call it whatever you will. The labels that society has lead us to put on certain things because they are "out of the norm", are only there to bring descension between the public, and create fodder when some radical mind does something extremely cruel to someone or something with a differing belief set from "the norm". Remember, the norm is much like whats popular. And if you find yourself believing in something, or thinking a certain way because someone or a group of someones is telling you to, then in essence you are seeking acceptance. And is that really any way to base a decision, or your beliefs on?
Just something to think about.

 Re: Random Journal
I explained this, and my reasoning behind doing this in the original entry. If you think you're being funny, or didn't really read it and just wanna respond with 1 line answers trying to bring a rise outta me, don't. It won't work...
Journal Entry # 3 4-6-2009
After such a long layoff (5 days) off work, I'm nervously excited about returning to what I'm good at. It's funny how life throws a curveball at the most inopportune times, as I set a 2 year goal 6 months ago and am nowhere near meeting that goal. I do, still have 18 months, and maybe a little longer depending whats necessary. Either way, several of my goals have been met or achieved since I was a regular on this forum. I think looking at life in increments is much easier than staring down the tunnel of forever and trying to figure it all out at once. At the end of the day, I know I'm the best. And if for some reason I don't feel that, there's always someone there to remind me.
Currently contemplative, and attempting to not sound too sentimental as I just watched the most recent HOUSE.
