Hey, if they are skipping a year, then I guess their roster could change a lot, too. So I'll do the same thing that I did for the New NEW Avengers. Pretend that you have been given creative control of the Justice League franchise. Any DC character can be yours. Who would you pick? Here's the Micro Heroes DC Link:

That's one interesting team there. I never even considreed Azrael, but he would make for one heck of an addition to an already skilled fighting team.

Yeah, I wanted to as well, but I know so little about a lot of the people outside of the main guys. I was planning on having Azreal lead the team with no Batman or Wonder Woman, but I ended up adding the DKR Batman, and keeping WW.

Yeah, I actually find that some of the coolest characters are the ones that few people know about. I knew almost nothing about Captain Atom, but Dave absolutely loved the character so I checked it out. He's got to be one of the strongest characters out there.

I was going to have a Bat-character, too (Batman, Nightwing, Robin) but decided to go with Dr. Midnite. He's got nearly as many fighting skills and is almost as good of a detective as Batman. Plus, as an older man and a doctor, he's a good voice of reason in the group.

I only know from the cartoon, but I'd have Dr. Fate on my team in a heartbeat.

Dr. Fate is a cool character, but I tend to shy away from the "magic" characters. It's the same reason I didn't put Dr. Strange on my Avengers team. Magic characters always came off as too powerful. Maybe they don't in the actual storylines, but a character like Dr. Strange has the power to very nearly do anything that he wants to. It makes them less of a hero to me and more of a demi-god-type. The same thing goes for Silver Surfer. He's not magical, but he is so powerful that it makes his role on a team seem almost wasted as he can take care of almost any problem by himself. There is something cool about a glowing gold helmet though and Dr. Fate is not as powerful as Dr. Strange.
