Yeah, it's a void, because Benoit is straight up your go-to guy to put someone over, or step up to the main event when he needs to. The guy was always over - I didn't watch his WCW work (as I came to pro. wrestling in early 2000), but his entire time in the WWE, no matter what they did to him or where they put him, he was always always over through sheer fucking ring work. You always knew Benoit was a step away from kicking anyone's ass anytime. That's a valuable worker right there.

Yeah, i started watching WWE in 2001=2002, and benoit was the biggest guy at the time, and up until today. I'm not sure why, but i'm more saddened of benoit's passing than of eddies. Benoit was a great wrestler, and was always over. I'm watching Raw now, they've sent all the fans and wrestlers home, and they're just doing his greatest moments. I'm really saddened by this.

I really wish I could watch Raw tonight. Settling for the main event of Mania XX instead.

Accident seems to coincidental..he doesn't fly home and then there's an accident...
Like Highone said, this is a Phil Hartman-like incident.

I'm reserving comment on what happened until we receive more information...but honestly I have no idea what to say right now anyway.

This is horrible, but what I'm afraid of is that what happened is going to be something so horrible and shady that we all look like pricks for honouring him.
Gah, I don't even know right now.

Just read that while police won't announce a cause yet, they can confirm that weren't shot to death. So it wasn't one of them going crazy.

whoa, just got strikmore's voicemail. I've been studying all night. That's some fucked up shit. I give it a 90% chance it was monoxide poisoning. If not, for the love of everything everyone should have a detector in their home regardless.
I read somewhere that he was let out of the show for a family emergency, I wonder if this brought him to his passing.

I am in shock. Benoit is one of my favorites in any fed he has been a part of. As the old saying goes, he could wreslter a broomstick to a 3 star match. Got the chance to meet him once in after a RAW show in Tucson. He walked into a resteraunt my friends and I were eating at to say hi to Superstar Billy Graham (also eating there). Damn does Benoit have one fucking strong handshake. He seemed like a nice guy and my friend Alison (who is in love with him) nearly cried at getting his autograph. Damn it all. Now I am all sad and shit.
R.I.P. Benoit. You will be missed.
