Cain: Hello everybody and welcome to one of the biggest events in pro-wrestling history,
THE ROAD TO GLORY!Tex: We won't be wasting any time tonight because we have twenty competitors -- almost the entire TCW roster -- facing off all in the same ring! Even the world champion, Dante!
Cain: That's right, Tex! The winner of this match will face Dante for the world championship at ENDGAME. Or if Dante wins, he can pick anyone he wants as an opponent!
Banter: It's going to be one hell of a night!

Sammy Eubanks: Ladies and gentlemen, it is time for the TCW ROAD TO GLORY!
The crowd goes wild at the announcement of the start of the most anticipated match of the year.
Sammy: In this match, two TCW superstars will begin in the ring and a new competitor will enter the ring every 90 seconds thereafter. A participant in the Road to Glory match is eliminated by being thrown over the top rope and having both feet touch the floor! After all twenty participants have entered and only one competitor remains in the match, that superstar will receive a shot at the 411fed and ECF Unfied World's Heavyweight Championship at ENDGAAAAAAAAAAAME!!!!!
Banter: Woo!
Tex: This is going to be exciting, folks. I love the Road to Glory.
Cain: Sammy isn't wrong when he says it's the most anticipated match of the year. Not only is a title shot at the biggest PPV of the year on the line, but also the honour of winning this incredible and potentially gruelling match!
Sammy: Now, introducing first, the superstar who won the number one spot at Havoc last week...
<i>A LIGHT IN THE BLACK...OR JUST A FEAR...OF THE DARK?</i>
The crowd surges to their feet as "Fear of the Dark" begins to play and Darkness appears backstage, making his way to the ring. The usual DanteCorp security personnel are missing this time, but he looks as stoic and determined as ever.
Tex: Darkness won the battle royal at Havoc and he chose his entry number with no hesitation. He has to be a favourite after his performance last week, but can he last the entire match?
Banter: No way. Especially not with one hand - he shouldn't even be wrestling.
Cain: I'm sure the doctors have told him exactly that, but Darkness doesn't strike me as the type of guy who gives a damn with a doctor tells him.
A huge pyro rips out of the stage as Darkness paces out from behind the curtain. The fans chant his name, but he ignores them, making his way down the ramp with an expression of steely resolve.
Cain: This will be Darkness's second Road to Glory. He finished fifth in 2005 and it was only his second televised match.
Banter: Big deal.
Darkness rolls into the ring and quickly gets up to his feet, swinging his arms in preparation.
Tex: And now the big question is just who drew the number two spot...
The drum beats of "Battle of One" start as white lights strobe to the beat. The guitar riff starts, and blue strobes join the white lights.
Tex: It's Matt Strikmore!
Cain: The reigning Transcontinental Champion and one half of the Tag Champions will start the Road to Glory in the ring with Darkness! We couldn't ask for a better start to this match!
As the singer screams, Matt Strikmore makes his way through the entrance way. Wearing long brown tights with blue details, Matt rolls his neck before heading down the ramp. There's very little fanfare, just the occasional slapping of a fans hand without looking away from the ring. Sliding under the bottom rope, Matt quickly jumps back up to his feet before lightly jogging in place while shaking out his arms.
Banter: Ooooh...here we go...
Darkness and Strikmore stand opposite each other, their stare not breaking as the anticipation of the fans builds up to fever pitch.
The bell rings.
To the sound of a roar from the crowd, Darkness and Strikmore immediately lock up and begin a shoving match. Strikmore gets the advantage though as he ducks behind and locks his arms around Darkness's waist. He attempts a German suplex, but Darkness catches his leg as he's lifted into the air and spins down, rolling through and under so that Stirkmore goes face-first into the mat.
Cain: An incredible counter...
Darkness attempts to press his advantage, but Strikmore rolls out of his grip and wraps his free leg around Darkness's head. Grabbing his right arm, he pulls Darkness into a modified triangle choke.
Tex: Strikmore is as resourceful as anyone who's ever stepped into the ring. These two favourites seem to be evenly matched at this early stage.
Darkness struggles in the hold but then rolls over onto his back and pulls head free. With a yell, he yanks Strikmore - still attached to his arm - closer to him and reaches out with his prosthetic hand. He gets a grip on Strikmore's neck and the TC Champion starts to wave his arms around frantically, releasing his grip.
Cain: We saw this at Havoc - Darkness is able to somehow lock that artificial hand closed, choking out his opponent.
Banter: He's such a cheat!
Tex: I thought you liked cheaters?
Banter: Only when they're not Darkness.
As the countdown begins, Darkness releases his grip and steps back, waiting for whoever will emerge next. Strikmore rubs his throat as he pulls himself up using the ropes.

*Bzzzzzt!*
"Blood Red Summer" starts to play and, as Darkness tilts his head slightly, Freya walks out onto the stage.
Banter: Oooh, things just got interesting...
Tex: Yes indeed. Either Strikmore is at a disadvantage with two NHFC members in the ring or, with Darkness's recent behaviour, there may be no loyalties here at all.
Banter: Plus it's the Road to Glory - ever ma...uh...person...for themselves!
Cain: Don't forget what happened in the tag title match at Havoc though - Strikmore DDT'd Freya's partner into one of the tag belts.
Freya gets into the ring and Strikmore straightens. He looks from one of his opponents to the other and back again, but Darkness quickly grows tired of his hesitation and blindsides him with a clothesline. He gestures to Freya and, with a grimace, she hooks Strikmore up and pushes him towards the ropes.
Tex: Well it looks like the NHFC are on the same page for the time being.
Cain: Tensions don't take too long to surface in the Road to Glory though...
Darkness reaches under Strikmore and attempts to tip him over. He goes over the ropes, but hangs on and lands on the apron. Darkness attempts to send him off with a head butt, but Strikmore knees him in the gut sending him staggering back before climbing back into the ring.
Cain: Strikmore avoids elimination there - what a surprise it would have been if he'd been the first man to go out.
Freya is quick to take advantage of the TC Champion's distraction though, leaping up into a hurracanrana and sending him flying across the ring. Darkness waits for her to stand and, for a moment the two of them face off, neither quite sure whether they should attack.
Banter: Man, I can see the cracks appearing in this stable already. Hopefully tonight will be the night we see the end of the NHFC.
Cain: Perhaps, but the countdown has just started on the Twistedtron...

*Bzzzzzt!*
"The Truth" by Beanie Siegel begins to play.
Tex: Shi is the fourth man to enter!
The Japanese superstar appears on the ramp and races down to the ring. Freya is immediately ready to intercept him, attacking him as he dives into the ring with clubbing blows to the back. Strikmore is back up, but Darkness goes after him again, flooring him with another clothesline and then attempting a suplex, but Strikmore blocks it.
Cain: Shi hasn't had his chance to really show what he can do in TCW yet, but he may get the opportunity here tonight.
Shi fights Freya off and back against the ropes, delivering a series of martial arts strikes, but she manages to block most of them and spears him to the mat, laying in right and left hands.
Meanwhile, Strikmore now has the advantage over Darkness, whipping him across the ring and executing a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on the way back.
Banter: That's it, Strikmore! Kick his ass!
Cain: You're a Matt Strikmore fan now?
Banter: Sure I am - he rides with Infinity now!
Tex: Well I'm not sure about that...
Strikmore lifts Darkness up and muscles him towards the ropes, but Darkness halts his progress and grabs a handful of the double-champion's hair, proceeding to rake his eyes against the ropes mercilessly.

The chorus of "Remember the Name" by Fort Minor begins and the crowd look confused. To everyone's surprise, the hulking shape of Supreme appears on the stage.
Tex: I don't believe it!
Cain: Well this really is a turn up for the books - is this the return of Supreme?
The huge Italian hit man walks down the ramp, cracking his knuckles and preparing to kick some ass and take some names. He climbs into the ring and walks right into a dropkick from Freya which sends him tumbling out over the ropes and down to the floor.
<i>Elimination 1: Supreme</i>
Tex: Oh...
Banter: A short-lived comeback, I guess.
Back in the ring, Shi brings Freya down with a scoop slam and drops a knee. Strikmore and Darkness exchange chops back and forth before Darkness kicks Strikmore in the stomach and lifts him up into a Slayer Slam, only for the rookie to reverse in mid-air and spin Darkness over into an arm drag, which sends him into Shi.
Cain: Incredible reversal from Strikmore. There's no clear advantage emerging for anyone in the ring yet.
Shi turns his attentions to Darkness now, attempting to choke the NHFC-member, but Darkness rakes his assailant's eyes and hangs him up on he ropes with a drop toe hold.
Tex: Uh oh!
Seeing her opportunity, Freya signals for the OX4 and dashes across the ring, only to be intercepted by Strikmore who sends up into the air with a back body drop. Fortunately though, she's not near the ropes and just lands heavily on the canvas.
Banter: Time for someone new!

"Renegade" by Jay-Z and Eminem starts to play and, judging by the green light show on the stage, it's time for Highone to make an appearance.
In the ring, Strikmore backs up and flexes his neck. Freya gets to her feet and watches the stage.
Tex: Last year, Freya eliminated Highone - it looks like she has plans to repeat that performance.
Cain: If he ever comes out...
Nothing seems to be happening and, eventually, the music fades out.
Banter: What's going on?
Tex: I guess Highone won't be showing up tonight...
Strikmore shrugs to himself and goes after Freya again, but she drops him with an arm drag and holds on, locking in an arm bar. Strikmore reverses out though, getting his head and torso under Freya and flexing back into a modified northern lights suplex.
Darkness is still working over Shi, pummelling him with right hands. He picks him up and whips him into the corner, attempting to follow him in with a clothesline, but Shi ducks and back body drops him over the ropes...
Cain: Oh! Is Darkness eliminated?
Tex: No, he landed on the apron!
Darkness does indeed find his feet and, as Shi turns away, he propels himself up to the top rope one handed and then flies off with a missile dropkick that sends Shi bouncing across the ring.

*Bzzzzzt!*
"Shitstorm" by Strapping Young Lad plays as, to the same green strobing Infinity lights, Hardy races out of the entrance and down the ramp.
Tex: It's David Hardy!
Banter: Yay! Look out, ladies...
Hardy doesn't waste a second, diving into the ring and flooring everyone who gets in his way. Freya and Shi go down from clotheslines and then he goes right after Strikmore, whipping him across the ring and into Darkness, who almost takes a tumble, but gets a secure grip on the ropes and swings himself back in.
Cain: Another close call for Darkness there.
Hardy drops Strikmore with a DKO and then hooks Shi up into a quick suplex as the Japanese man charges him. He stands up, and then gets brought down by a spinning heel kick to the back of the head from Freya. Darkness watches the carnage impassively.
Tex: Hardy has made a serious impact already - could he be a surprise contender to win this thing?
Cain: Anything can happen, Tex. The Aftershock Champion has as good a chance as anyone.
Darkness takes advantage of the downed individuals in the ring, picking up Shi and running him towards the ropes. He holds on as he goes over, tumbling to the apron, but Darkness backs up and then executes a baseball slide, knocking Shi off and to the floor.
<i>Elimination 2: Shi</i>
Tex: Shi is out! Darkness is thinning out the ranks!
Cain: Not that it makes much difference - the countdown has started...

As Shi exits the ringside area, "Cream Infinite" by Eminem starts to play and DeSean Blackwell makes his way out onto the stage. The other half of the tag team champions looks confident as he saunters down the ramp.
Banter: Hey, have you noticed how you never seem to see Shi and DeSean in the same place at the same time?
Cain: Not really.
Immediately, DeSean and Hardy team up on Freya and Darkness while Strikmore crouches down in the corner, obviously not sure where his loyalties lie. Hardy whips Darkness across the ring and floors him with a dropkick on the way back, while DeSean kicks Freya in the gut and lifts her up for the Hangman's DDT.
Tex: Big move from DeSean!
He gets it, and Freya is driven neck-fist into the mat, to a loud ‘oooh' from the fans.
Banter: Yeah, you show her, Technician!
DeSean straightens and high-fives Hardy, but Strikmore is now the only one left standing. Hardy slaps DeSean on the back and points at his tag partner.
Cain: It looks like DeSean has a bit of a dilemma here...
Banter: There's no dilemma. Infinity for the win!
Strikmore backs up for a moment as the Infinity duo advance, but then surprises them by suddenly charging and flooring them both with a double-clothesline. The crowd cheer as Strikmore raises his arms, but DeSean is up again quickly, only for Strikmore to turn just in time and run him out over the ropes. He hangs on, but Freya has now gotten back to her feet and she dropkicks him right off the apron.
<i>Elimination 3: DeSean Blackwell</i>
Tex: DeSean takes a tumble to the outside, and he doesn't look happy about it.

As 1940s noir music begins to play, Hardy suplexes Darkness onto the apron. Freya is about to charge him, but seems to think better of it and stops herself as her tag partner, Stephen Hawthorne, makes his way to the ring.
Tex: Freya and Hawthorne narrowly missed out on the Tag Championships at Havoc, but now this strange young man is looking to get a shot at a much bigger prize.
Freya and Hawthorne team up straight away, going after Hardy. They whip him to the ropes and execute a double dropkick. Hardy stumbles around and goes over, but he skins the cat as his assailants turn around and stops himself being eliminated.
Cain: Hardy avoids being eliminated, but there's now three members of the NHFC in the ring - how long can one Infinity member last against those kind of odds?
Banter: Pretty long is those Satanist freaks continue to self-destruct...
Darkness and Strikmore are fighting again, this time with Darkness getting the advantage, pummelling Strikmore in the corner. He locks in a choke hold and lifts Strikmore up to the top rope before pointing to the outside.
Tex: Oh no, is Darkness going to chokeslam Strikmore right out of the ring?
He tries to lift Strikmore, but gets a kick to the chest and is sent staggering back. Strikmore recovers and then sails off the top rope with a cross body that knocks Darkness to the mat.
Cain: Here comes another entrant...
Banter: Ooooh! Who's it gonna be?!

*Bzzzzzt!*
"Junior Kickstart" begins to play and out comes the immense shape of Cage, followed closely by his diminutive charge, Elsie.
Tex: It's Duo, being represented in this match by Cage.
Banter: This big guy gives me the creeps.
Cain: Why's that?
Banter: He's <i>grey</i>. Does that not strike you as odd?
Cain: Oh yeah...I guess...
As Cage makes his way to the ring, Strikmore tries to press his advantage on Darkness, but gets an elbow to the gut and then a back body drop that sends him right up and over the ropes, down to the floor.
<i>Elimination 4: Matt Strikmore</i>
Tex: Strikmore is eliminated! He lasted half the match, but Darkness finally got the better of him!
Cage is now in the ring and goes right for Darkness, who still has his back turned after watching Strikmore tumble out. He gets his huge grey arms under Darkness and lifts him up over the ropes.
Cain: There goes Darkness...oh...no...
Darkness hits the apron and reaching out with his prosthetic hand, gets a grip on the bottom rope. Hanging inches from the floor, he slowly starts to pull himself up to safety, while Cage turns away, assuming his work is done.
On the other side of the ring, Hardy has managed to isolate Freya by whipping Hawthorne into one corner and he delivers a spinning heel kick, almost sending her over the ropes. Hawthorne flies out of the corner in retaliation, bringing Hardy down with a spear.
Tex: Freya and Hawthorne are still watching each other's backs, and they'll need to, because here comes a new entrant...

Audioslave's "Cochise" starts to play and JE soon emerges, jogging down to the ring.
Banter: It's JE!
Cain: It sure is. He looks determined to have an impact on this match.
JE slides into the ring, only to get immediately beaten down by Cage, who drops a massive elbow on JE's back.
Tex: These two have a bit of bad blood - no pun intended - after they were involved in an altercation for the Bleeder Title a few weeks ago.
Cain: Indeed. We've yet to see the Bleeder Champion Kermit, but judging by what happened last week in the battle royal, I think it's safe to say that his belt's stipulations will have an effect.
Hardy has now fought off Hawthorne, but he stands up and walks right into a superkick from Darkness. He stumbles towards the ropes and goes over, and Darkness turns away.
Banter: Noooo!
Cain: Hardy is about to go out...no wait...
Hardy once again manages to skin the cat and pulls himself back to safety.
Tex: Another narrow escape for Hardy there. He's got as many lives as a damn cat.

"Free Bird" by Lynard Skynard starts up and Atomic Welfare runs out and down the ramp.
Cain: Atomic Welfare makes his appearance here! He's a relatively new addition to the roster, but will he make a difference to this match?
Atomic Welfare rolls into the ring and immediately he and Hawthorne team up on the hulking form of Cage, battering him to the ropes. Their attacks have little effect however, but Freya and JE join in and they all try to lift him up and over the ropes.
Banter: Haha, this is hilarious.
Tex: Cage is quite a monster, and it may take more than these four have to get him out of the ring...
Atomic Welfare struggles before realising that one of his main rivals is helping him, so he instead turns to JE and kicks him in the stomach, before throwing him into an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. He follows up by whipping JE towards the ropes and he almost goes over, but manages to catch himself on the ropes and stop himself being eliminated.
Darkness and Hardy are still fighting, and Hardy has mounted Darkness in the corner. He lays in punches, reaching the count of six before Darkness reverses and drills him with an inverted atomic drop, which sends Hardy hopping away in pain.
Cain: Looks like bad news for any RoXeTtEs watching...
Banter: Don't talk like that, Cain. That is just offensive. Never talk as if a man's rad chillies have been damaged.
Cain: Rad...what...?
Cage fights off his attackers now, sending Freya and Hawthorne bouncing away with huge blows before charging into Atomic Welfare and sending him spinning through the air with a massive clothesline.
Tex: The countdown has begun again...

*Bzzzzzt!*
"The Old Man Down the Road" begins to play and out comes Mr. Acceptable to a moderate reaction from nearby fans. He walks down the ramp at a steady pace before entering the ring through the middle ropes.
Cain: Well, there he is.
Tex: Yup.
Banter: Uh huh.
Hardy is closest when Mr. Acceptable enters the ring, so it makes sense to go after him. A series of average punches and chops brings Hardy to the ropes and Mr. Acceptable lifts him up over the ropes. Hardy holds on though and grips Mr. Acceptable with his legs, throwing him out over.
<i>Elimination 5: Mr. Acceptable</i>
Tex: Is Hardy about to go out?
Hardy hangs desperately from the ropes, his feet waving inches from the floor. Finally, he starts to pull himself up and once again saves himself.
Cain: How many more times is he gonna skin the cat?
Banter: As many times as it takes!
Darkness and JE are brawling now, with Darkness quickly gaining the advantage and nailing a spinning kick on the former Aftershock Champion. He tries to lock in the Darkshooter, but JE manages to flip his way out, sending Darkness rolling to the mat.
Cage is being double-teamed by Atomic Welfare and Hawthorne again, and they begin to wear the monster down. Freya joins them and, finally, the three of them manage to muscle him over the ropes and down to the floor.
<i>Elimination 6: Duo</i>
As Atomic Welfare stands by the ropes, JE strikes, lifting him from behind and throwing him right over and out.
<i>Elimination 7: Atomic Welfare</i>
Cain: Two eliminations in quick succession! The field has been severely thinned out now!
The countdown appears on the Twistedtron...

"Another Stranger Me" by Blind Guardian plays and the Bleeder Champion, Kermit, walks out.
Banter: Hey, look out, Kermit!
As Kermit begins to walk down the ramp, Atomic Welfare and Duo intercept him, the huge Cage flooring him with a clothesline. Atomic Welfare stomps Kermit down and Cage scoops him up.
Tex: It looks like Duo and Atomic Welfare have designs on the Bleeder Championship again.
Elsie cheers on Cage as he hurls Kermit into the set, causing large amounts of damage and, more importantly, bloodying Kermit almost immediately. Atomic Welfare drags him onto the stage, gestures a referee from behind the curtain and goes for a pin, but Cage pulls him off immediately.
The giant attempts his own pin, and gets as far as ‘1', but Atomic Welfare drops a double-axe handle on his back. Cage rises slowly and turns his attention to Atomic Welfare, allowing Kermit to rolls to his feet and stumble past his attackers, running down the ramp.
Cain: Kermit, I think, would like to get into this match, rather than have to deal with those who've already been eliminated on the outside.
Kermit runs past Elsie, but she jumps on top of him and knocks him to the floor.
Banter: Well, he isn't getting far...
In the ring, Hardy superkicks Darkness this time, and Darkness goes down, but not near enough the ropes to risk elimination. JE attempts to take advantage by lifting Darkness and trying a suplex, but Darkness reverses and lands on his feet. JE turns around and walks right into the Darkness DDT!
Tex: JE is down! This could be a turning point in this match!
Freya and Hawthorne lift JE up and attempt a double back body drop, but they mis-time it and JE lands throat-first on the ropes, bouncing back and landing in a heap on the mat.
The countdown appears...

<i>I AM THE GOD OF ALL HELL'S FIRE!</i>
Tex: Uh oh!
Dante steps out onto the stage while "Down With The Sickness" plays, Selenia at his side as, in the centre of the ring Darkness stands alone. The two NHFC members lock gazes across the arena and Dante begins to walk down the ramp, avoiding the brawling wrestlers who are still attempting to halt Kermit's progress to the ring.
Cain: Is this where the tensions between Darkness and Dante spill over? After what's happened between them, how can they hope to coexist in the ring?
Dante climbs into the ring and Darkness steps back, allowing him to enter. Surrounding them in the ring, the remainder of the competitors watch them, unsure which of them they should support or attack.
Tex: You could cut the tension in that ring with a knife! What's going to happen?
Dante and Darkness stand face-to-face and, once again, Darkness is the first to strike, drilling Dante with a right hand. Dante immediately responds in kind and the two of them begin trading blows as the fans cheer.
Freya moves in, separating her two stable mates. Dante heeds the girl's advice and steps away as Hawthorne lays his hands on Darkness and tries to pull him in the opposite direction. Darkness doesn't take kindly to this and he turns around, flooring Hawthorne with a clothesline.
Banter: Told you! They're going to fall apart!
Freya sees Darkness attacking her partner and gets in his face. Darkness curls his lip at her, and she slaps him before kicking him in the stomach and bringing him down with a snapmare.
Outside the ring, Kermit finally fights off his attackers and staggers to the apron. He pauses to rest, dabbing at the blood on his head. JE, spying his former tag partner from in the ring, immediately charges, throwing himself out of the ring with a plancha that floors Kermit.
<i>Elimination 8: JE</i>
Tex: JE just eliminated himself!
Banter: What an idiot...
Cain: But he's pinning Kermit!
The referee counts...

But Kermit kicks out!
The countdown shows up on the Twistedtron...

A deep drum-beat sounds through the arena and then, rising up from below the stage as "Come With Me" starts to play appears Titanium Insomniac, cane in hand.
Tex: It's The Insomniac! The Insomniac is back!
Banter: Now we've got ourselves a Road to Glory!
TI paces towards the ring and hefts his cane as Cage stands up in his way. The giant goes down, bleeding. Atomic Welfare is next in line, and he too is brought down by TI's relentless assault. JE turns to see what the commotion is all about and he gets floored too. Kermit sees the approaching former Bleeder Champion and finally dives into the ring.
Cain: It looks to me like TI is here to collect on his debts.
Tex: And Kermit doesn't want to pay!
TI follows Kermit into the ring and comes face-to-face with Dante. TI doesn't hesitate to drop the Champion with a head-butt and then stomp him down, but he then looks up and sees Darkness in his path. For a second the two of them stand off, and Kermit takes the opportunity to lift Darkness up and tips him up over the ropes.
Cain: Darkness is about to be eliminated...but he's holding on!
Banter: Not for much longer though...
TI joins in with Kermit in attempting to get Darkness over the ropes.
Tex: Kermit and TI are joining forces against Darkness, despite their problems over the Bleeder Title.
Cain: Anything can happen in the Road to Glory!
Banter: Stop saying that.
Darkness goes over the ropes, but lands on the apron and rolls in under the bottom rope as TI and Kermit's fragile alliance falls apart and TI brings Kermit down with a choke.
Kermit fights free and bails, diving out under the second rope to escape TI's attacks.
Tex: Kermit is no coward, but he's already taken a beating outside the ring, and he's lost a lot of blood already.
Kermit stumbles backwards, right into a school boy from JE...

But Kermit manages to kick out again.
Cain: JE is still hanging ‘round at ringside. He may not be in the Road to Glory match anymore, but he still has designs on the Bleeder Title.
In the ring, Freya drop kicks Hardy, almost sending him out, but he hangs on and rolls in under the bottom rope.
Banter: Time for a new entrant!

<i>HERE COMES THE HAMMER!</i>
"Hate Me Now" by Nas begins to play and The Hammer steps out, standing in the green strobe lights, his head bowed.
Banter: It's Hammer! The winner is here!
Cain: He's certainly a favourite, and nothing's going to stop him running roughshod through those who are left in the ring.
Tex: Four members of the NHFC are still in this match, and now Infinity has three...that is, if TI's still a member...
Kermit gets back into the ring, and JE follows him, grabbing hold of his leg.
Banter: Hey, JE got eliminated. What does he think he's doing?
Kermit tries to fight JE off, but he's looking badly fatigued thanks to blood loss. TI does him a favour and runs JE right out of the ring again though. Atomic Welfare attempts the same trick, trying to jump in a pin Kermit, but Hardy is ready for him and drop kicks him out of the ring.
Banter: That's the second time those guys have been eliminated!
Hammer reaches the ring and he and Darkness immediately set upon each other, trading blows until Hammer gains the advantage and lifts Darkness up into a big spinebuster.
Tex: Hammer has just got into this match, but Darkness was the number one entrant. It's been almost 45 minutes now and, even with his incredible stamina, he must be exhausted.
TI attacks Dante, attempting a chokeslam, but Dante rakes his eyes and lifts him up into a death valley driver which shakes the ring as he drives TI's head into the canvas. As Hammer turns his attentions elsewhere, Darkness pulls himself to his feet and he and Dante stare one another down again. They lock up in the centre of the ring.
Near the ropes, Hawthorne brawls with Hardy and lifts him into a fireman carry. He tries to throw Hardy out, but the Aftershock Superstar grabs the ropes and pulls himself free. Hawthorne is sent staggering away and he collides with Darkness. The former champion rounds on him and, without stopping to check who it is, locks in a choke hold and Slayer Slams Hawthorne right over the top rope and to the floor.

Cain: Darkness just took out his own stable mate!
Tex: And Freya doesn't look happy about it...
In retaliation, Freya charges Darkness and brings him down with a drop toe hold. He gets hung up on the second rope and Freya signals for the OX4. With everyone else in the ring busy brawling, she has an unobstructed path and bounces off the opposite ropes, racing back to swing her body through the ropes and catch Darkness in the face with a kick.
Cain: The OX4! Darkness is in trouble!
Tex: And so is Stephen Hawthorne I think. He landed badly from that Slayer Slam and he hasn't moved since he fell.
Cain: EMTs are on their way out, so let's hope he's okay.
Freya crouches near the ropes, watching Hawthorne and making sure her partner is okay while the EMTs check on him and eventually strap him to a stretcher.
The countdown appears on the Twistedtron...

"Age of Aquarius" and a confused murmuring from the crowd heralds the arrival of Indigo.
Banter: Who's that?
Tex: That's Indigo, who won a battle royal in FWRFed for this spot in the Road to Glory.
Banter: FWRFed? What the hell is that?
Indigo runs to the ring as TI and Dante fight again, their brawl spilling into Kermit who is slumped, exhausted, in the corner. JE tries to get into the ring to take advantage again, but this time Dante eliminates him, elbowing him off the apron.
Hammer intercepts Indigo as she comes in, clubbing her down, but Freya comes to the other girl's aid and the two young women double-team Hammer. They whip him across the ring, but he double-clotheslines them on his way back.
Cain: That was a little ungracious of him...
Banter: You know how Muslims are with women.
Cain: Uh...
Now Hammer, Hardy and TI all begin to team up on Dante, stomping him down to the mat and trying to eliminate him. Dante resists, fighting them off with chops and punches, but he's outnumbered and it takes Kermit saving the day by dropkicking TI from behind to allow him to roll out of reach of his foes.
Tex: TI is on the ropes....
Kermit attempts to lift TI over the ropes, but he doesn't have the strength and slumps down to the mat in a pool of dark blood.
Cain: Kermit has lost so much blood, he can barely move, but here comes someone new to make his life that little bit harder...

*Bzzzzzt!*
"Tourniquet" by Evanescence begins to play and the strange figure of Myra Tripp begins to make her way to the ring.
Banter: She's so creepy...
Cain: She's just a girl, Banter. It's not like you to be scared of young women.
Banter: I know! I don't get it!
Indigo and Myra team up as she reaches the ring and go after Hammer again, almost getting him over the ropes, but Hammer right hands Indigo and she goes down hard.
Tex: Ooh, Indigo took that pretty hard. I know the women are quite happy to mix it up with the men here in TCW, but it's hard to watch a woman being hit like that.
Tex is apparently not the only one who found that hard to watch as suddenly someone appears on the stage.
Banter: Who the hell is that?!
The hulking figure, dressed in jeans and a t-shirt that does nothing to hide his bulging arms and thick, bull-like neck, strides to the ring, a look of anger on his wide face. His hair is shaved into a short Mohawk.
Cain: I believe that's FWRFed star Mohawk...
Banter: He's built like a tank! What's he doing here?
Tex: Well my understanding is that he's dating Ms. Indigo...
Mohawk approaches the ring and stares at Hammer who just shrugs and steps away. Mohawk immediately steps onto the apron, but Indigo is now up. She looks annoyed and tells him off, jabbing a finger in his massive chest. Looking abashed, he steps down.
Banter: Hahaha, pussy-whipped!
Tex: I don't think Indigo appreciates her boyfriend's help. She wants to make it on her own.
Elsewhere, Kermit tries to eliminate TI again with a suplex, but his strength fails him once more and TI sets on him, battering him with rights and lefts. Satisfied that he's done enough damage, TI stands up and walks right into a superkick from Darkness. He almost falls over the ropes, but manages to keep his balance and slumps back down into the ring.
Kermit takes his opportunity and goes after Darkness, kicking him in the gut and then he hits the Lesson in Respect using the last of his reserves to drive the NHFC-member's head into the mat.
Tex: Brutal!
Cain: Darkness has taken one hell of a beating in this match - how much longer can he hope to last?
The countdown starts up...

Tex: It's our final entrant! And he's walking right into World War Three!
"Jesus of Suburbia" begins to play and out runs KID, wasting no time in diving into the ring. He goes straight after Hardy, driving towards the ropes with a high knee. Hardy tries to depend himself and KID hits a European uppercut that sends Hardy over. KID steps away, assuming Hardy is eliminated, but once again he skins the cat.
Cain: This is getting ridiculous...
Banter: Yes, ridiculously <i>awesome</i>!
Kermit is now a bloody mess in the middle of the ring, and TI finally decides to pin him. A referee appears and makes the count...

And Kermit just rolls his shoulder up in time!
Tex: We nearly had a new Bleeder Champion there...
Hardy looks for a new target now, and walks right into Dante. They trade blows before Hardy attempts a DDT, only for Dante to reverse it and lock in the Gilded Cage.
Cain: Dante has locked in his signature hold! This will wear Hardy out quickly, and he's already been in this match for a long time!
KID goes up high, intending to bring Hammer down with a high-flying move, but Hammer is too quick for him and charges, knocking KID off the top rope and down to the floor.
<i>Elimination 10: KID</i>
Hammer now turns his attentions back to Indigo and suplexes her over the top rope. She tumbles over, but Mohawk catches her and puts her back in under the bottom rope.
Banter: Hey! That's cheating!
Tex: Well yes...but there are no rules in the Road to Glory except that you're no longer eligible to win once you've gone over the top rope and your feet touch the floor. I don't believe there's any rules about boyfriend's helping you...
Banter: Hey, maybe you should enter next year then, Isaiah. You could surround the ring with them.
Still intent on the Bleeder Champion, TI hits the Teardrop on Kermit. Seeing another opportunity, JE attempts to come in again and take advantage, but Darkness intercepts him and Slayer Slams him right out of the ring.
Cain: I think JE is finally out of the picture...
TI stands up to confront Darkness, but gets a superkick for his trouble. Darkness turns, and walks right into a Full Moon DDT from Freya.
Tex: Almost everyone is down!
Myra drop kicks Hammer and Indigo signals for her finisher. She climbs up to the top rope and goes for the Indigo Splash, but Kermit lunges at the ropes and unbalances her, sending her crashing down to the floor.
<i>Elimination 11: Indigo</i>
Cain: Indigo is eliminated, and now we must surely be into the home straight, with most of the competitors now laid out in the ring.
Kermit slumps against the ropes, clearly barely conscious. He wipes blood from his eyes, but not in time to see Dante charging him with a clothesline. Kermit tips over the ropes, hits the apron bodily and then finally slumps to the floor.
<i>Elimination 12: Kermit</i>
Tex: Kermit gave it his all - he was targeted by everyone and their brother for his Bleeder Title and that's what led to him being dumped by the World Champion. What an effort from him though.
Hardy and Myra Tripp are the only ones standing in the ring now, and the young girl in black charges, only to be dumped over the top rope with a back body drop.
<i>Elimination 13: Myra Tripp</i>
Cain: Freya, Darkness, Dante, TI, Hammer, and Hardy are the only ones left in the ring now, and they all look exhausted.
Warily, the remaining six participants in this gruelling match eye one another, wondering which of them will make the first move.
Tex: It looks like things will break down according to alliances here!
TI and Hammer charge together at Freya, Darkness, and Dante. The Hellfire group splits up, with Dante taking on Hammer while Freya and Dante face off with TI.
Focusing on the Infinity members leaves Darkness wide open to receive a moonsault from Hardy! Freya attempts to make a save, but is knocked to the mat by Hammer!
Dante and TI exchange blows near the ropes, both men trying to inch the other closer to the edge. Hardy rushes over, and TI quickly turns and... eblows him in the head! A look of surprise comes over TI's face and the shock is enough for Dante to capitalize!
Banter: You gotta look before you swing!!
Dante launches the Insomniac into the ropes and finishes it off with a huge dropkick to the chest, sending TI tumbling over the ropes!
<i>Elimination 14: Titanium Insomniac</i>
Hardy is up and tossing Freya towards the ropes. Dante races in, knocking Hardy to the mat. Darkness and Hammer clobber each other with their fists.
Hammer manages to shove Darkness into the turnbuckle and continues his assult. Dante attempts to make another save but is taken down by Hardy's forearm! Freya leaps on Hardy from behind, tossing him across the mat with a monkey flip.
Freya's chasing Hardy towards the ropes but she's cut off by Hammer and hits the ropes. Darkness takes down Hammer with a heavy back elbow. Hardy grabs Freya's legs, lifting her up, and tossing her out of the ring!
<i>Elimination 15: Freya</i>
Tex: We're coming right down to the thick of it now!
Dante and Hardy are exchanging blows while Hammer and Darkness attempt to one-up each other on the mat. Hardy is fighting to get away from the ropes but Dante pushes back hard, sending Hardy over the top.
But Hardy swings back in under the bottom rope, taking out Dante at the ankles!
Banter: That was too close!
Hardy attempts to take advantage, but the world champ is back on his feet in a fighting frenzy, slugging away at Hardy, forcing him back against the ropes. The fists keep flying even with Hardy tied up! Dante slams his forearm into Hardy, then leaps over the top rope himself, grabbing Hardy.
Cain: He's determained to make it work this time!
Dante pulls Hardy over the top rope and sends him crashing to the mat below, barely keeping his own balance!
<i>Elimination 16: David Hardy</i>
Hammer sees his moment and takes it, shoving Darkness off and racing over to Dante! The Shadow Slayer gives chase but Dante covers himself, leaping over the ropes and hitting the running Hammer with a mean missile dropkick!
Hammer stumbles backwards into Darkness, who grabs him and hits a DDT! Darkness lifts him back up, and Dante approaches cautiously. Hammer suddenly bursts free, shoving Darkness off!
Hammer races forward, hitting both men with a double clothesline, sending them both into the ropes! Hammer leaps forward!
Tex: He's going to eliminate the both of them!!
It's not meant to be, however, as Darkness grabs Hammer, using his own momentum to launch him up in the air and send him sailing over the ropes!
<i>Elimination 17: The Hammer</i>
Cain: This should be interesting...
Dante and Darkness both circle the ring, neither one making a move.
Tex: Tensions have been very, very high between these two lately!
Darkness lunges forward, violently tacking Dante to the mat! Darkness begins swinging his fists, his prosthetic smacking against Dante's skull.
Dante reaches up, wrapping his hands around Darkness's throat. He squeezes tighter and tighter, forcing Darkness to pry Dante's hands off.
Dante kicks up, his foot landing in the back of Darkness's head. Darkness stumbles up. Dante grabs him, tossing him towards the ropes. He looks to capitalize, heading for a clothesline, but Darkness dodges, and shoves Dante head-first into the turnbuckle!
Darkness resumes his assult, sending Dante's head crashing back and forth into the metal of the ring post!
Tex: This is disgusting!!
Darkness pulls Dante up and throws him into the ropes, but allows Dante to bounch back, grabbing him for a DDT! He picks up the champ again.
Cain: What the hell?
Darkness is clocked from behind by the ECF Championship belt!
Tex: The Acid Misfit! Misfit is back and he just saved Dante's ass!!
Banter: Aw hell.
Misfit helps Dante regain his balance, checking to make sure he's alright, while Darkness is laid out, rubbing his skull.
Dante shakes his head to clear the cobwebs as Darkness begins to rise. Dante and Misfit exchange words and Misfit nods, heading for the ropes.
Tex: I think he wants to do this himself!
Darkness is up and brandishing the ECF belt. He charges at Dante with it, but Dante dives out of the way. Darkness turns his head and runs to the ropes, clobbering Misfit instead! Misfit tumbles out of the ring.
Darkness turns, and charges at Dante again, dropping the belt. But the world champ makes another dodge, grabbing Darkness! He spins Darkness around and hits him with a standing clothesline!
Enraged, Darkness leaps to his feet. On his way up, he grabs the ECF title and aims it right for Dante's skull! But Dante hits a dropkick, sending the belt into Darkness's face!
Darkness stumbles backward and Dante grabs him, hitting a big DDT onto the ECF championship!
Dante pulls Darkness to his feet and kicks the belt out of the ring. He tosses Darkness into the ropes and gives chase. But Darkness turns himself around, grabbing Dante, and both men are tangled up at the ropes!
Darkness takes his good hand and latches onto Dante's throat. Dante attempts to break free but Darkness won't give!
Banter: Dante's turning from white to purple!
Darkness keeps choking and Dante begins to gasp for air! Darkness finally lets go and shoves Dante through the ropes! Dante hangs on at the edge of the apron, looking for a breath.
Darkness follows him, climbing over, and grabs Dante by the throat again! He leads him towards the turnbuckle, smashing Dante's skull into it again!
As Dante leans on the ring ropes, Darkness climbs the turnbuckle quickly and pulls Dante up with him.
Tex: This isn't going to be pretty!
Up top, Darkness readies Dante to be tossed out and he's hit with a punch to the gut! Dante fires another and another, and Darkness almost loses his balance! Dante grabs Darkness, firing his fist into him as hard as he can! Darkness leans and Dante looks him in the eyes for a moment before launching both his fists into Darkness! Darkness flies backwards, tumbling through the air, and crashes on the ground below!!
<i>Elimination 18: Darkness</i>
Tex: THIS IS UNPRECEDENTED! This is unbelievable! Dante has won The Road to Glory!! This is history in the making, folks!!
Dante slowly climbs into the ring where he's met by Misfit, holding the ECF and 411fed Championships. Misfit hands Dante his belts, and the TCW World Champion raises them over his head to the screaming cheers of the crowd.
