I just want to say that there is no better feeling than going home.
I dunno...maybe it's because I'm a girl...maybe cause I have a good relationship with my folks...I dunno...maybe I'm just a sap...let me explain.
I slept home last night because my folks were going to a wedding out of town today and were leaving early morn.
Phil is pretty weak right now...meds taking their toll, you know? And the mornings are especially hard...that's when he feels his sickest. So I stayed over to take care of him...
Anyhow...and this will sound A LOT like a KML post but...I sat out on the front stairs late last night...Under the big maple tree...on a quiet lil street. A summer breeze blew and I was at peace.
Total peace. That house will always be home no matter where my life's path takes me...like I said...there is no better feeling than going home...
