 Two modifications to the forum First, a small change. Regardless of whether or not a reply has been made yet, an "edited by" line will appear when you change a post.
Secondly... you'll notice in the posting window that a "copy to clipboard" button is now there. Click this before you're about to make an important post and it'll save your post to the clipboard... then if the post gets lost cuz of the Internet dropping... you just have to paste it in.

I'd like to suggest that when you click on a topic with new replies, that you're taken directly to the new reply.
Like for example.
Bob posts, then Dean, then Ash. I read all those. Then Anna and Mr Sub post, if I click on that topic, I go straight to Anna's (this is the way 411 does it). Usually its no big deal, the main place it'd be nice is feuding threads.
