But Jaber said he kept one secret from his captors, fearing the treatment could get worse. "I mean I like rap, just imagine them playing jazz."

Just remember Morg- don't even try to sing along. The thing aobut seeing the Vines is the trainwreck waiting to happen.
I hate to say it, but Good Charlotte needs props. I've had them at several festivals I've been to, and while I detest them, they carried on witht he audience and waht not.

when I saw the vines last april, my mate made a good point that he thinks Craig puts the fucked up style on, and that t is pretty much an act to make "him look cool to the kids".

AS I said it was my mate who said it, I wasn't sure myself, and please I'm 23....I've had people fucked on cocaine in the back of my car, so don't patronise me with "you ever been around someone stoned as fuck all trying to play guitar or sing?"
as for your next list
the distillers were good IMO, I saw them at V 2003, yes the simliarity between brody and cortney is there, but you could compare any band of today with someone else of the past, so that is a bad argument.
Coldplay totallly shocked me with how good they are live (I saw them at the same festival). Chris Martin is a very god pianist and has the whole bono style down to a tee (politics, music and charisma)

Iron Maiden gave a shit when I saw em in July. Dickinson was going nearly nonstop for an hour and a half. He was jumping around doing cartwheels and shit. Also went on a ten minute rant about pirating music, to record whatever the fuck we want. Fuck the system, fuck MTV, fuck Metalliwhatever and all the shit radio, cuz Maiden are still alive and kicking after 25 years. Of course the above rant, is kinda blurred as I was kinda plastered on $4.00 beers....

Well when I went to see the White Stripes last night ( ) they rocked the house. Jack has fantastic stage presence, hell even Meg does, and he just looks like he's having an awesome time up there rocking out. Muse rock live too. If you're a Muse fan and haven't seen the Hullabaloo DVD, go get it now. Matt puts in one of the most energetic performances you'll see and you can tell he enjoys putting on a spectacular show. To be honest I think most rock bands put alot of effort into playing live, most of them love it.

Cool, Morg, when do you get to see Hot Hot Heat? I'm off on the 3rd of November. Good times.
And Muse, Muse put on a really good show. The Vines, too.
Hot Hot Heat played a wicked show at Leeds Festival this year.
Beck seemed really into his performance, too.
Blur definitely still give a shit about performing live, they were simply amazing at Leeds.
And the Foo Fighters.

The Offspring put on the best live show I've ever seen, and I'm barely a fan of them. They were totally into it.
Godsmack's awful live. One show, Sully just kept ranting about Napster. I fell asleep.

Someone said it earlier up there, but Less Than Jake puts on a wonderful live show. I've seen them three times now. They kick ass even if you don't know all their shit. Ben Folds works the audience wonderfully. I know some might think it's early ninetie's kitsch...but Better Than Ezra is really good live too.
