Post Talking smack at the online tables...USELESS against me.
Useless. An ECF'er tried it...and it failed. I know I'm bad. I also play the penny tables like the play tables....as in WHO CARES. I put in a buck to waste time here at work. If I wanna make money, I'll play an SNG...which I DO make money at. If anything...talking shit is not gonna rattle my "game" at a penny table...but it will make me sad off the Poker table.

I will raise all pairs...suited cards if one of them is a picture...in hopes to catch cards. Good hands come too far in between to wait when you are playing for pennies.

And if you think I play that way when there are hundreds of dollars at stake...think again. :) When I am paying attention....with real money....I would put myself up against anybody on this board...so let's keep it friendly with us ECF'ers, eh? I wouldn't talk shit to you...don't do it to me. At least give me the common courtesy to talk shit on AIM to others when I can't see/hear it.

But talking shit at me and calling me a bad player on an internet table really does crack me up. You are better off just not saying anything and taking my money when I play the wrong cards.

*********** # 16 **************
PokerStars Game #516827163: Hold'em Limit ($0.02/$0.04) - 2004/06/30 - 19:06:50 (ET)
Table 'Alnilam' Seat #8 is the button
Seat 1: dailey9 ($0.38 in chips)
Seat 2: ECF'er ($1.17 in chips)
Seat 3: bigmike411 ($0.81 in chips)
Seat 4: ivanhoe ($0.86 in chips)
Seat 6: Army_Mom ($0.40 in chips)
Seat 7: bgn82 ($1 in chips)
Seat 8: Mahal ($0.30 in chips)
Seat 9: TRobus1 ($0.81 in chips)
Seat 10: Lars2642 ($0.78 in chips)
TRobus1: posts small blind $0.01
Lars2642: posts big blind $0.02
Army_Mom: posts big blind $0.02
bgn82: posts big blind $0.02
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to bigmike411 [3h Jh]
dailey9: calls $0.02
ECF'er: calls $0.02
bigmike411: raises $0.02 to $0.04
ivanhoe: folds
Army_Mom: calls $0.02
bgn82: calls $0.02
Mahal: folds
TRobus1: calls $0.03
Lars2642: calls $0.02
dailey9: folds
ECF'er: calls $0.02

Yup. I raised with suited cards. One was a J. If I don't catch the flush...I fold.

*** FLOP *** [Tc 5d Jd]
TRobus1: checks
Lars2642: checks
ECF'er: checks
bigmike411: checks
Army_Mom: checks
bgn82: checks

A Jack on the Flop! Everybody checked! A single bet and I'm outta there. What I have is a "dominated hand", and yes, that IS in Lee's book.

*** TURN *** [Tc 5d Jd] [3c]
TRobus1: checks
Lars2642: checks
ECF'er: checks
bigmike411: bets $0.04
Army_Mom: calls $0.04
bgn82: folds
TRobus1: calls $0.04
Lars2642: calls $0.04
ECF'er: calls $0.04

Two Pair! I don't put anyone on too much that is scary...the highest card is a jack. I tell myself that I am riding this one out.

*** RIVER *** [Tc 5d Jd 3c] [Jc]
TRobus1: checks
Lars2642: checks
ECF'er: checks
bigmike411: bets $0.04
Army_Mom: folds
TRobus1: folds
Lars2642: folds
ECF'er: calls $0.04
*** SHOW DOWN ***
bigmike411: shows [3h Jh] (a full house, Jacks full of Threes)
ECF'er: mucks hand
bigmike411 collected $0.54 from pot

The boat comes...and I take down the pot. I think I played it ok. Lee's book definately says that you can raise with suited cards before the flop...but with a shit kicker...you must be prepared to drop it with a bet.

*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $0.54 | Rake $0
Board [Tc 5d Jd 3c Jc]
Seat 1: dailey9 folded before Flop
Seat 2: ECF'er mucked [Ts 9s] - two pair, Jacks and Tens
Seat 3: bigmike411 showed [3h Jh] and won ($0.54) with a full house, Jacks full of Threes
Seat 4: ivanhoe folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 6: Army_Mom folded on the River
Seat 7: bgn82 folded on the Turn
Seat 8: Mahal (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 9: TRobus1 (small blind) folded on the River
Seat 10: Lars2642 (big blind) folded on the River

So nobody bets after the flop, and I make a hand I can play. I catch a miracle card to get the boat. NOT MY FAULT.

Ok, it might just be that I'm still not too good at this, but I just don't see what can be criticised here. I know I'm a novice and only play for play money but I could see myself doing exactly the same thing, although I probably would've just called to start with.

I think I need enlightening as to what the problem is so I can learn not to do it.

CKY, generally, if your playing a winning game you wouldn't even touch J3 suited. Only time to really play that is if your in the SB (and have several callers already), the BB and it's checked or you're trying to create a reputation as a maniac so you can get loose calls later on. That or your goofing around like Mikey was.
