Usually if a guy say's want to go to a game, and doesn't mention the price of said tickets. It is assumed that they are free. If I was in that situation I would probably do the same and back out, but that's mostly cause I have no money. If however I had a job where I could afford to pay them, I would not back out. It all depends on the situation the other person is in financially.

Hell yes PD does the dick thing.  That sounded bad. Anyway, if you ask someone to a game or anything, unless you upfront say, I'm gonna to to a game/movie & the tix are $$$, do you want to go, then it's assumed that it's free. Bottom line... Fault=you.
